The third annual Countdown to Kickoff Fan Day was held at the UGA practice football field on July 19, 2008. The Countdown to Kickoff Fan Day is a chance for Bulldog fans to meet current and former UGA football players, mascots, cheerleaders, and the Majorettes. All of the football players were signing autographs and taking photos with fans. The event was founded by three former UGA 
football players: J
on Stinchcomb, Matt Stinchcomb, and David Greene.
